The history of HCCADA is one of steady growth and productivity.  HCCADA is a 501©(3) not-for-profit agency.  Since is 1991 conception as a Statewide Initiatives for Council's program serving only Kerr County, HCCADA has blossomed into a multi-faceted and comprehensive organization.  This was accomplished through a series of deliberate and well-planned expansion efforts from a group of Kerr County citizens who had a constant concern for the growing issues of substance abuse in the community.  From 1992 until now, HCCADA has been serving four additional counties of Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, and Medina. HCCADA receives state and federal funding, local foundation assistance, and income from our Offender Education programs.  Donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.
