Checks should be made payable to the Hill Country Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and mailed to HCCADA – Attn: Development Department – 102 Business Drive – Kerrville, TX 78058.

Be sure to indicate the purpose of your gift on the check or in a cover letter (i.e., event tickets, event sponsorships, program, etc.). HCCADA will gladly accept cash gifts – however, we do not recommend mailing cash via postal service or courier. To make a donation using cash, please bring it directly to our office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

CREDIT CARD

HCCADA uses a secure online credit card transaction site and has set up an online donation site for your convenience. If you choose to donate by credit card via postal service, please be sure to give us the name printed on the card, the credit card number, card type, expiration date, card security code, the amount of your donation, and billing address. We will also need the area of designation for your gift. HCCADA knows some are concerned about credit card fraud and stolen numbers. Please know once this information is given out, all information is destroyed.

MATCHING GIFTS

Thousands of companies offer to match their employee’s charitable contributions, which can double and sometimes triple your donation. Some require forms to be completed by the employee. Others have automated programs that only require a phone call. Most corporations have guidelines that the nonprofit organization and employee must meet before a donation is matched. Your company’s Benefits or HR Department can give you more information about their program and should also have the proper forms to complete.

Mail your form, along with your contribution to HCCADA’s Development Office. We will verify your matching gift eligibility and return the form to your employer.

MEMORIALS & HONORARY GIFTS

Donations to HCCADA may be made in memory of or in honor of someone special in your life.

  • A loved one who has struggled or is currently struggling with the disease of addiction
  • In honor of a recovery anniversary date
  • Honor someone you know that is passionate about HCCADA and the work done for our community

The family or honoree will be notified of your generous donation (no amounts are given).

PLANNED GIVING

A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date. Commonly donated through a will, bequest, life insurance, or trust. Planned gifts are most often granted once the donor has passed away. Remembering the Hill Country Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse through planned giving is a meaningful way to help continue our work in prevention, intervention, and recovery to make our community a better place in which to live.
