OUTPATIENT TREATMENT
HCCADA’s Outpatient treatment program is designed for persons actively involved
in chemical dependency. The best candidates for this program are persons who are employed, live with a family and have a history
of medical stability. The ability to abstain from using for at least two weeks is another important factor. We understand
that addiction does not always allow the stability life has to offer. We are here to address just that.
Persons can receive help without having to take time off from work, leave their families or enter a residential treatment center. Family members play an important role in outpatient, learning what addiction is and how they can support their loved ones recovery. This is truly a family disease and affects all of our society and the world.
Candidates for Outpatient Treatment are carefully screened through
an assessment process, and if found appropriate receives an individualized treatment plan. All services are coordinated by our
staff of Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselor.
Outpatient involves a series of meetings,
two evenings per week (6pm-8pm) and 8 one-on-one individual counseling sessions. This is a 16 week program. These meetings
feature lectures as well as group therapy. Service continues until the individual has mastered basic skills for self-care and constant
recovery.
The outpatient treatment program runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays depending on the schedule that is provided. Most often persons are in outpatient for 16 weeks, but can vary in length depending on each individual’s needs. Treatment is, or can be , coordinated with attorneys, the legal system, Child Protective Services, or other referring entities.
Because addiction has far-reaching effects on family members, friends and co-workers, HCCADA’s Outpatient Treatment Program assists these individuals to deal with the effects of someone else’s addiction. Outpatient Treatment help create the network of support and understanding that is so important to complete recovery for the entire family.
