ASSESSMENT:

HCCADA provides confidential assessments to adults and youth who are referred by the Criminal or Juvenile Justice System as well as "walk-in's". This process is conducted by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and takes approximately 1 hour. The charge is $30.00. To set up an Assessment appointment, please come by our office and fill out the Assessment Registration Form and pay the $30 with a money order or credit/debit card. When you have completed this, we will give you an appointment. You may also download the form to print, fill it out, and send it to our office in the mail with your money order for $30.

PRIVATE COUNSELING:  

Individual counseling with licensed counselors regarding chemical dependency, family counseling behavior/mental health issues.  REFERRALS, PLACEMENTS & FOLLOW-UPS:

Based on the problems identified, clients may be referred to Alcoholics Anonymous Group meetings, Narcotics Anonymous group meetings, Naranon, Ala-teen, Alanon, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Codependence Anonymous, private counseling or inpatient-outpatient treatment. The client will be referred to other appropriate community resources as needed. Every effort will be made to find a no cost or low cost referral.

REFERRALS:

Information is available to provide the client with available resources depending on the presenting problems.

CLIENT FOLLOW-UP’S:

After the initial visit has been made, HCCADA staff will again make contact to ensure the referral given was successful and if not, staff will continue to work to find the necessary assistance.

ON-GOING PRESENTATIONS:

HCCADA provides educational presentations to businesses and area schools (elementary through high school) regarding health effects and legal issues relating to Tobacco, Alcohol, and other Drug issues.
